Hemorrhoidal Ointment (Benzocaine) 1 oz by Americaine

• Benzocaine 20%
  

• When practical, cleanse the affected area by patting or blotting with an appropriate cleansing wipe 
• Gently dry by patting or blotting with a tissue or a soft cloth before applying ointment
• When first opening the tube, puncture foil seal with top end of cap
• Apply to the affected area up to 4 times daily, especially at night, in the morning or after each bowel movement

• Foil seal is broken or missing

When using this product

• Certain persons can develop allergic reactions to ingredients in this product
  
• Do not put this product into the rectum by using fingers or any mechanical device or applicator
• Do not exceed recommended daily dosage unless directed by a doctor

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• Condition worsens or does not improve in 7 days
• Bleeding occurs
• Symptoms do not get better, or if redness, irritation, swelling, pain or other symptoms occur or increase

If pregnant or breastfeeding

• Ask a healthcare professional before use
