• Docusate Sodium - 50 mg 

• One dose daily
  
• Take with 6-8 oz of milk, fruit juice or infant formula to mask bitter and  prevent throat irritation

Adults and Children 12 years and over

• 1-4 teaspoons (5-20 mL)
  

Children 6 to under 12 year of age

• 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 mL)

Children 3 to under 6 years of age

• 1/2  to 1 teaspoonful (2.5 to 5 mL)

Children under 3 years old

Keep out of Reach of Children

Do not use

• If you are presently taking mineral oil
  
• When abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting  are present
• For longer than 1 week

• Noticed a sudden change in bowl habits that lasts over 2 weeks

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are

• Taking any other drug. Take this product two or three hours before or after other drugs. Laxatives may affect how other drugs work

• You have rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after use of this product
  (These may indicate a serious condition)
